Intervision wins Independent Music Award

PORTLAND’S OWN INTERVISION WINS BEST R&B SONG IN THE 8TH ANNUAL INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS

Portland based Intervision is among a diverse group of independent artists named as Winners of the 8th Annual Independent Music Awards (IMA) program. Intervision was named the Winner of the Best R&B Song category for Live Out Loud from their 2007 album, Shades of Neptune.

Combining elements of soul, rock, jazz and pop, the sextet is earning lofty comparisons to bands like Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, and Jamiroquai, yet have created their own intensely unique sound. Intervision has been honored to open for multi-platinum recording artist Lifehouse, and most recently for New Orleans-based architects of southern funk, the Neville Brothers. “These guys are one of the best bands to come off the streets of Portland.”…”Read my lips, these guys are the next big thing.”
